2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrailHawk – The Off-Road King.

Jeep is expanding their offering with the all new 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrailHawk. Built on the successful Jeep Grand Cherokee, the new SUV will look to add a touch of luxury. Already the most awarded SUV ever, the Grand Cherokee will take on a new level of finish with the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrailHawk. It’s already made it’s rounds on the car show circuit, including the New York International Auto Show, where it was met with a warm reception.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee TrailHawk will build upon their accomplished 4×4 performance. As an add on trim for the Grand Cherokee, Jeep will expand their lineup to include the TrailHawk as well as the Summit. Jeep is touting the new Trailhawk as their most capable Cherokee yet, and they are throwing in everything but the kitchen sink.
Built on a concept Grand Cherokee that performed in the 2012 Easter Jeep Safari, the TrailHawk is meant to be the ultimate Jeep. Produced with the highest level of expectations possible, the Trailhawk offers more than just Jeep’s renowned off-road capability.
Here’s a brief rundown of what you can expect from the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrailHawk.
Off Road
With the Jeep Grand Cherokee name, the Trailhawk does not disappoint when it comes to rugged off road duty. Built around the Jeep Quadra-Drive® II system, the Trailhawk comes standard with their Electronic Limited Slip Differential or ELSD for the hardiest of terrains.
Suspension
Tying the off-road capability of the Jeep to the technology of today, the Trailhawk also comes with a highly advanced suspension system. Built using the Quadra-Lift® air suspension, the Trailhawk provides more suspension travel. The increase in shock piston travel gives the Grand Cherokee TrailHawk more range and prevents bottoming out.
Handling
Putting it all together is a host of technological advances in the Trailhawk. Features such as Selec-Speed® Control and Hill Ascent Assist give you the best of both worlds. With 10.8 inches of ground clearance, the Trailhawk has plenty of options when you run out of road.
Styling
The exterior of the Trailhawk is redesigned from the 2016 Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary edition. With a new front fascia and the iconic seven-slot Jeep grille, the Trailhawk has rugged Goodyear Adventure off-road tires at each corner. Available with a 18 or 20 inch rims, the Trailhawk also comes with special badges to signify the special edition.

Where the Grand Cherokee TrailHawk really shines is inside the cabin, where Jeep pulls out all the stops. Luxury and style are high design points, and a simple look over the Trailhawk interior feature these points quite well. With a black interior and a combination of leather and suede trimmed seats, the Trailhawk looks and feels luxurious to the feel and touch. Red stitching and the Trailhawk badging in select areas highlight the exclusive nature of the Grand Cherokee TrailHawk.
To top that all off, Jeep also incorporated their own Uconnect® infotainment system that allows you to make real time adjustments on the fly. Easily read pertinent information about your Grand Cherokee TrailHawk through the touchscreen panel. Information such as degree of front wheel articulation as well as suspension height let you know what’s going on outside of the car.
