2017 Jeep Wrangler Updates
What hasn’t changed – The changes to the 2017 Jeep Wrangler aren’t huge ones, but still present quite a few upgrades from the previous year. Returning from 2016 is the same hallmark of do it all performance and rugged design that makes this Jeep so innovative. Keeping the 2017 Jeep Wrangler true to it’s roots is the smartest move that Jeep can make, given it’s success over the years.
Performance and rugged ability is still the centerpiece of the Wrangler. No matter which vehicle you are considering, there are very few utility vehicles that can match the Wrangler capabilities. As an off road vehicle or rock crawler, the 2017 Jeep Wrangler has what it needs to get the job done. If you enjoy the great outdoors, or love to drive off-road this is one of the best returning features in the 2017 Jeep Wrangler.
There has been quite a bit of talk about Jeep redesigning the Wrangle completely in 2018, which makes these minor upgrades and changes important from the previous year.
Lighting changes – All new for the 2017 calendar year, the 2017 Jeep Wrangler comes with LED headlights and fog lamps. These LED lamps are optional in the Sport model but comes standard in the Rubicon and Sahara trims.
Cold Weather – This new package is a recent addition for the 2017 Jeep Wrangler. This S option adds an engine block heater, heated seats and a set of B.F. Goodrich KO2 tires. This gives the rugged outdoorsman a complete range of features that can keep them engaged no matter where their travels take them.
Trim changes – From the Sport, Rubicon to the Unlimited, the usual choices return in the 2017 Jeep Wrangler. The four door Unlimited model gives you the complete range of choices that Wrangler enthusiasts are looking for.

Price changes – One area that has changed for Jeep fans is the price point of the  2017 Jeep Wrangler. The prices for the base Wrangler Sport model has gone up by $100 dollars, while the Sahara and Rubicon models increase by $450. While these changes aren’t huge, the price difference between the 2016 and 2017 may sway your decision.
These changes and updates to the 2017 Jeep Wrangler can help you make the choice between the 2017 and 2016 model. Want to make up your own mind? Test drive a new 2017 Jeep Wrangler today and see which model year makes the best sense for you.
